Little Pockets of Happiness

Happy Friday ladies, thank you for stopping by! I hope you’ve had a great week and are looking forward to a restful weekend, with a bit of fun! This has certainly been a whirlwind kind of week for me with this blog finally launching!

So ladies, think back on this week…what moments of joy did you have?

This morning, my husband and I were looking for a good place to have breakfast. We stumbled upon a cute little restaurant, and after checking out the reviews, which were all positive, we decided to stop.

OMG, let me tell you about this place. It was clean, and the booths were so comfortable. But I have to be honest, the very first thing I noticed about this eatery were the yummy-looking cinnamon rolls that were sitting in an aluminum baking dish in the dessert case! So immediately, I knew that I just had to try one!

The service was quick, and everyone was really friendly. My husband and I decided we would share a cinnamon roll as an “appetizer” for breakfast. Well, let me tell you, the cinnamon rolls, that were made by the owner’s mother, were scrumptious!

Now ladies, I have to share something with you…whenever my husband and I go out for breakfast, he knows that I will rate the restaurant right away based on their coffee. We have been to restaurants in the past where the food was delicious, but the coffee was weak! I will not go to those places again because if there’s one thing I love in the morning, it’s a great cup of coffee!! We all have our quirks, right?

So, I know you’re all wondering, how was the coffee at this place?

Well, it was rich, and creamy, and everything I wanted! My husband certainly was relieved when he watched me take my first sip and then looked up at him and said, “Delicious!”

Having a wonderful cup of coffee with a delicious breakfast, at a cute restaurant with my husband this morning, brought a little bit of joy to my Friday!

I hope you found little pockets of happiness this week!

Enjoy your weekend, and if you’re in the path of the Nor’easter storm that’s hitting parts of the East Coast, please be careful.

I’ll talk to you on Monday.
